Hydrocon Enterprise Sdn Bhd, incorporated 15 June 1987. Registered Grade G7 in building, civil engineering and mechanical works, including B08 waterproofing. Thirty-two staff and seventy-six site workers on our own payroll, so the crew that quotes is the crew that turns up.

Water only needs one gap.

A joint left open. A corner not turned. A detail nobody drew. The building shows it two monsoons later, in the ceiling of the floor below, and by then the repair costs more than the roof did.

So we treat every edge, upstand and penetration as the job, because that is where the job is won or lost.

Clients ask what actually goes on the slab. This is a hot-applied roof system as we install it, in the order we install it.

  3. MONOLITHIC MEMBRANE 6130K, first coatHot-applied monolithic membrane, two millimetres minimum.
  4. FLEX FLASH F fabricReinforcement, broomed in while the coat is still warm.
  5. MONOLITHIC MEMBRANE 6130K, second coatSeals the fabric into one seamless layer. No laps to fail.
  6. SEALOPOL 3PProtection membrane, torch-sealed at every edge and upstand.
  7. Protection screedConcrete topping with scored joints, so cracks go where we want them.
  8. Then we flood it.Ponding test before handover. It stays on top.
