Retaining walls at underground levels must be able to resist the lateral pressures generated by water pressures. When the walls are soaked with water, mold formation will occur. Hydrocon's main objective is to prevent water from seeping into the walls, which compromises the structural integrity of the walls. Centreseal PVC waterstop is fixed between construction joints to decrease the hydrostatic pressure of any water entering.
